If you are missing teeth, Dental Implants can change your smile and your life. Dental Implants look and feel like natural teeth and provide an attractive, long-lasting, and durable alternative to other treatment options. Dr. Tim J. Brooks has the ability to both place and restore Dental Implants to give you the strong, beautiful smile that you have always wanted. Our dentist use Zimmer implants, a proven leader in implant technology, to create your new smile.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants are titanium, man-made tooth roots capped with an implant restoration, which could be a custom crown, denture, partial, or bridge, depending on your needs. A small, titanium post that the dentist surgically places in your jaw will hold the implant restoration securely in place to restore beauty, comfort, and function to your mouth and jaw.

Am I a candidate for Implants?

To qualify for Dental Implants, you must have adequate jawbone structure and good oral health. During your implant consultation with Dr. Brooks he will help you determine whether or not implants are the right option for you.

With the latest 3D imaging technology, our dentist is able to measure the width, depth, and density of the jawbone. Since Dr. Brooks specializes in implant placement, the 3D cone beam customizes a guide specific to each patient case that allows for more accurate implant placement. This also allows for a faster and more comfortable surgery.

How are Dental Implants attached?

If you are a candidate for Dental Implants, Dr. Brooks will surgically place a titanium post(s) in your jawbone. This titanium post will fuse with the jawbone to create a solid, stable foundation for the implant restoration. Once the titanium implant post has bonded to the jawbone—a process that can take several months to complete—you will return to our office to receive your implant restoration. Dr. Brooks will attach all replacement teeth for optimal functional and aesthetic results. During the implant process, we will walk you through every step of the way so that you have a positive experience.

How long do Implants last?

When properly taken care of, Dental Implants will last a lifetime.
